This support group addresses the cumulative impact of HIV-related stigma alongside other forms of discrimination (such as race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status). The intervention promotes healing through culturally responsive, identity-affirming care.\
What to Expect: A deeply validating space where multiple identities are seen and
integrated. It offers a balance of processing and skill-building in a trauma-informed
environment where safety and pacing are prioritized.
Intended Outcomes: Reduced trauma-related distress, increased identity integration,
and improved psychological well-being for individuals with multiple marginalized
identities.
Capacity: Limited to 6–8 participants max to ensure privacy, safety, and depth.
Timeline & Format:
Schedule: Meets once a month on the last Thursday of the month.
Group Begins: Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM
Format: 1 hour per session (closed group format).
