Grief & Loss Group (People affected by HIV)
This monthly open group provides a structured, educational, and process-oriented
environment. It is designed as a safe, nonjudgmental space to normalize and process both individual and collective grief related to HIV.
What to Expect:
A setting of emotional processing, and gentle structure where
participants can honor layered losses. Here, grief and loss can refer not only to death,
but also to non-death grief including the loss of mobility, hopes, expectations,
relationships, or friends. Many participants come in carrying multiple or unresolved
losses over time.
Included in the 50-minute meeting time, Grace Korley, LMHC, MFT will lead a
psychoeducational portion intended to equip members with practical skills for managing
grief and loss within their personal support systems.
Timeline & Format:
First Thursday of the Month
Format: Monthly (open group format), 60 minutes per session
